This is the home edition of the Merck Manual app made for people without healthcare experience. It aims to help improve the doctor patient relationship. We reviewed the professional edition of this application in one of our prior reviews.
Best medical apps for Family Medicine and for primary care physicians.
This is the professional edition of the Merck Manual app made for healthcare providers. Dr. Wodajo said the following while reviewing the application: “A medical encyclopedia that fits in your pocket”
A tool for those learning how to do various procedures. This application is packed with text, pictures, and videos of actual procedures being done. Examples of procedures demonstrated are thoracentesis, abdominal paracentesis, and many more. This is the sister application of another app we reviewed, Procedures Consult: Musculoskeletal.
This app is similar to the Speed Bones MD app we’ve reviewed, except it deals with only muscles, as the name implies. A great source for learning your gross anatomy muscles.
