MKSAP 18
MKSAP 18 — or the 2018 Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program — is an interactive continuing education app from the American College of Physicians (ACP) designed for internal medicine physicians. It includes over 1,200 multiple choice questions based on provided text sections. The questions are all original and unique to MKSAP. They are based on provided patient scenarios and up-to-date evidence-based research. Topics range from fundamentals of internal medicine to all its subspecialties. Users can save questions and notes within the app, and all texts and questions can be accessed offline. The content supplements the other subscriptions available from the ACP, both digital and complete. Providers use the same log-in information across all platforms.

My Breast Cancer Coach
My Breast Cancer Coach was developed in partnership with breastcancer.org and Genomic Health, a cancer research institution. The app helps patients navigate potential treatment options by providing understandable information. It includes common questions for doctors, links to patient advocacy websites, a glossary of medical terms, and a calendar. Users can also update the included journal, with text, photo, and audio recordings. Healthline.com named My Cancer Coach one of the best breast cancer apps in 2016 and in 2017. This new app brings the features from My Cancer Coach to a platform customized for breast cancer patients.

Anatomy & Physiology in a Flash!: Interactive App
This multi-media app from the developers at Skyscape provides reference text and flashcards for students looking to develop a basic understanding of the functions and structures of the human body. Organized by body system and color-coded, the 15 sections are concluded with memorization tips and questions to test knowledge. Answers to these questions can be found in the appendices. There are over 250 cards in full color that provide full rationales and can be bookmarked for review later. Users can create custom quizzes to improve areas of weakness based on answered questions. The app also provides a question of the day with optional notification as a reminder to study. In-app purchases must be made to access all questions.
