EBMT Educational Tools
The EBMT Educational Tools app was created by the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation as a clinical resource. Clinicians can use the app to diagnose and grade the severity of sinusoidal obstruction syndrome/veno-occlusive disease. Lab values, time since symptom onset, weight change, and risk factors are calculated to determine the patient’s risk level for poor outcomes related to SOD/VOD.

The Preconception Care Quick Ref app brings together National Preconception Health and Health Care Initiative toolkit references to be used by providers caring for women of child-bearing age. Immunizations, mental health, chronic diseases, substance use, and previous pregnancy outcomes are covered in the app. Providers can review assessments, key questions and recommendations to ensure healthy mothers and babies.

TreatHF
The TreatHF app was created by the American College of Cardiology Foundation for clinicians who treat patients with heart failure. It offers guidance about the various therapies available for patients with reduced ejection fraction who are in symptomatic heart failure. For each patient, the clinician can input various assessment parameters related to heart failure and the medications the patient has been prescribed. Patient resources are available in addition to clinician resources and mobile tools.

WCM BSD
Researchers at Weill Cornell Medical College teamed up with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to help women make educated decisions about their breast health. Women can complete questionnaires to determine their risk of breast cancer, how soon and how frequently mammograms should be performed, and print a summary to discuss with their doctors. The patient can weigh the benefits and risk of screening mammograms based on their personal risk factors.
