In an E-mail to participants of the Asthma Health ResearchKit study, researchers announced they have enrolled over 8,400 subjects into their study. While these numbers are not as big as the Stanford MyHeart Counts study that has enrolled over 40,000 subjects — it’s still massive when considering the study started enrolling just 7 months ago.
Overall engagement numbers of the Asthma Health app have been high as well, as shown by the below graph from the ResearchKit blog.
Researchers have also added a “Doctor Dash” feature — this enables study subjects to easily show their physician a summary of their overall asthma symptoms and management.
