TriagePic, by the National Library of Medicine, is meant to be used by hospital staff to aid in reuniting friends and family in mass disaster situations.
For example, if there is an earthquake, and the hospitals are flooded with victims, hospitals can use TriagePic to capture a picture and brief demographics on disaster victims as they arrive at the hospital. The information is sent to a private local hospital database for use by appropriate staff for family reunification purposes.
Overall a really interesting concept from a reputable organization.
