The CHEST SEEK app has been reviewed before by iMedicalApps, but has recently gone through a significant update. The CHEST SEEK app by the American College of Chest Physicians is a question based app designed to help prepare for board style exams.

User Interface: The app opens up to a home screen that has a list of categories that the user can choose from depending on the type of questions they want to answer. The free version of the app includes 10 free questions in each category. The app offers each additional set of 10 questions for $4.99 which can make obtaining all of the questions quite pricey. The home screen also has tutorials on how to use the app as well a section for the user’s favorites and notes.

  • Overall

The CHEST SEEK app is an extensive bank of questions for pulmonology, critical care and sleep medicine with great explanations and citations to support the answers. The app is very easy to use and a great way to study while on the go. However, the cost of each set of 10 questions is $4.99, so the cost of all the questions would be over $600.00 — massive. It is unfortunate the cost of the questions is so high as the app has the potential to be a great study resource.
