Popular 3D anatomy app developer, Visible Body have released a number of their apps for the Android system. Visible Body are the first of the ‘major’ anatomy developers to release for the Android system. They have released their first major app – Visible Body 3D Anatomy atlas. Interestingly they have had to announce the device requirements in order to cope with the fragmentation issues associated with Android.
Device Requirements
★ 1 GHz processor or higher
★ 512 MB RAM or higher
★ 480 x 800 pixel display or larger
Furthermore the app is generally receiving positive reviews with a number of commentators enjoying the additional advanced anatomy options for Android. Android is lagging significantly behind the iOS ecosystem however hopefully this marks a point of change and we will see more developers coding for both platforms.
