As you might have noticed already, there are a lot of control buttons and options scattered throughout the screen. Although the buttons clutter quite a bit on my 4inch screen, each serves a unique purpose that I find myself accessing frequently. Perhaps making the options into a pull up menu would help. Android’s dedicated search, back, and menu buttons do not function here within this app (maybe the developers are getting ready for an Apple release?).
Having the advertisment occupy one corner, taking up a chunk of screen space, does not help with the clutter either. I can take away the ad by disabling data access to the app, but in place will be Anatronica’s banner promoting the “Pro” version anyways. Again, using Anatronica on a tablet would probably be much more liberating, but overall I still found that I had enough space to work with on my phone.

The skeletal and muscular systems are available in the free version of the app. Both anatomy systems are independent of each other and you can load both together or either systems by itself. The models are stored locally within your phone and do not require internet access.
On the “Pro” version, you will also have access to the Urinary, Digestive, Reproductive, Circulatory, and Respiratory systems. Obviously missing from Anatronica’s app library so far are the nervous, lymphatic, integumentary, and endocrine systems. The Nervous and Endocrine Systems are available on the Anatronica website, which likely indicates a conversion coming soon. Also noted was the lack of tongue muscles and female models in this app.
The Hierarchy System is a much appreciated function here in my opinion. Quick toggles to hide each structure or categories of structures are presented, which helps very much with isolating the object of interest for better appreciation. The search function works well and isn’t limited to searching for exact matches of object names (which should be standard across the board with all apps!).
