The first ever Startup Weekend focused exclusively on health care will be held in Philadelphia June 1-3. The weekend will bring together people with different skill sets – clinicians, software developers, graphics designers and business people – to build applications that target problems in health care and develop a commercial case around them.
Startup Weekend Health is a 54 hour event which focuses on building a web or mobile app which could form the basis of a credible business over the course of the weekend. Startup Weekend is a global network of passionate leaders and entrepreneurs on a mission to inspire, educate, and empower individuals, teams and communities.
