Today is the last day to apply for the Innov8 for Health digital health accelerator in Cincinnati, OH. The Innov8 for Health program is run very similarly to the TechStars-style model utilized by Blueprint Health digital health accelerator in New York City, offering companies $20,000 in exchange for 6-percent equity and participation in an intensive three month program of mentoring which culminates in a “Showcase Day” where companies present their prototypes to regional VC and Angel groups. The accelerator also promises to “plug in” selected startups with regional providers and companies to test their products in the real world.
