The first Android app from PerfectServe was recently announced providing physicians an easy way to contact colleagues directly, call patients while protecting their own caller ID, and view a history of all past patient correspondence. This app is the latest addition to the PerfectServe product lineup which already includes an iPhone app.
PerfectServe is growing in popularity in many hospital and physician practice settings, as more than 17,500 physicians already use the service.
With PerfectServe Clinician for Android, doctors can:
1) Directly contact colleagues without using phone lists, directories or call schedules.
2) Call patients while protecting their caller ID. The office caller ID is presented to the parties they call, instead of personal home or cell phone numbers.
3) View recent calls, voice messages, text messages, and pages. Added functionality even allows calls from the History screen to be made while protecting the doctor’s caller ID.
“This is our initial release for the Android, and we will be adding new capabilities, such as call schedule and contact preference management and the ability to change call routing based on status,” said Terry Edwards, chief executive officer of PerfectServe. “Our goal was to create an app for Android that facilitates more doctor-to-doctor communication.”
