Hi-- I'm a physician in New York, and I was wondering if there are any iPad apps specifically targeted to patients for health education purposes. I am looking into the possibility of installing iPads in our waiting room, and I am looking for an interactive, low health literacy app that can be used to teach patients about common medical illness, healthy diet/ lifestyle, etc.
I've searched in the iTunes app store and various online app review sites and haven't seen anything that fits the description. If anyone has any resources, I'd greatly appreciate any assistance you could provide.
