Regarding DRAGON MEDICAL MOBILE DICTATE, I have been following for over a year for the release of that application, and yet, their website continue to state that it will be released in the next 13 to 18 months (which is also what they stated 12 months ago). Do you have any news? When I spoke to a support person at Nuance, they weren’t even aware that the application existed or was in the making….

They would not say anything about pricing – I think they don’t know yet. I’m guessing it will be SaaS, meaning some sort of “lease”. He was pretty sure it would not be a purchase, though, like the shrink-wrapped desktop version which is pricey (~$1300). It might even be sold as “wholesale”, i.e. re-sold by the EHR vendors in which case it could be bundled with the EHR and potentially even more economical

this definitely looks promising, any word on the pricing model yet? i’m assuming it won’t be per word, rather flat fee?
